Aine Rice is an optometrist with a vast experience within the Hospital Eye Service, academia, and community optometry.

She is a College of Optometrists Supervisor and WOPEC MECS/Glaucoma Assessor.

Aine trained at Aston University and undertook her PhD at University of Bradford followed by a Fellowship at University of Leeds.

Her current role encompasses clinical work, teaching and research. Aine’s main areas of interest include Refractive Cornea and Lens Surgery, Keratoconus, Dry Eye and Complex Contact Lenses.
