Specialist Optometrist – Ocular Therapeutics, Glaucoma & Laser

Dana Hawrami BSc (Hons), DipGlauc, DipTp(IP)

Dana Hawrami is a highly experienced specialist optometrist with over 12 years in the profession. He holds qualifications in ocular therapeutics, glaucoma, and laser procedures.

Dana has worked extensively in hospital settings, including complex glaucoma clinics, surgical glaucoma, eye casualty, and general ophthalmology clinics. He holds a Diploma in Glaucoma from University College London (UCL) and a Diploma in Ocular Therapeutics from Aston university.

Dana has also certified in Minor Ops and Laser from the Northeastern state university in Oklahoma.

In addition, Dana is certified with East Kent hospital trust to perform laser procedures. He regularly performs laser treatments such as:

Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)
YAG Capsulotomy
